About Us

Niolon Lumber Sales was founded in 1982 by Joe Niolon Jr.  After building his career in wholesale lumber brokerage, Joe started concentrating on the metro Atlanta manufacturing sector and found a niche for custom industrial wood products delivered with the “just in time” principles of lean manufacturing.

In 2002, Gwinnett Lumber Remanufacturing was started to facilitate the growing needs of our customers.  Located next door, our 48,000 SF reman facility enables an in-house production of our custom industrial products.

The ability to provide quality products and exceptional service has allowed NLS to continue into the second generation of the Niolon family.  Siblings, Simeon, Trey and Leigh Niolon handle the current operations and strive to uphold the business principles established by their father.  They also hope to foster and encourage the third generation to follow in their footsteps.

What We Do

We are wholesale industrial wood specialist, offering industrial grade wood, wood components, custom boxes, crates, skids and pallets to manufacturers for shipping their products.

Next day delivery is our standard.  In our 70,000 SF warehouse in Suwanee, GA, we inventory over 500,000 BDFT of lumber.  Our indoor facility and on hand inventory enable us to provide “just in time” service with clean, dry wood products.  

We are members of a Quality Assurance Program for Heat Treatment. (Conway & Robison link) This allows us to insure and certify that our products used in international trade are marked in accordance with the International Plant Protection Convention’s (IPPC) Guidelines for Regulating Wood Packaging Material. (ISPM15)

Boxes and Crates

We build to your specifications: long/short boxes, knock down kits or assembled.  We are certified members to produce HT products for international shipment.

Pallets and Skids

Built to your specifications and certified to produce HT products for international shipment.
